Responsibilities include knowledge of basic wiring and panel programming, system set-up, basic troubleshooting, and explanation of system to customer with ability to answer questions.\nResponsibilities:\nInstall, program, and test residential systems and/or small business accounts, including:\nBurglar alarms\nSmart home security systems\nVideo doorbells\nIndoor and outdoor security cameras\nSmart locks\nEnvironmental sensors\nHome automation devices\nAccurately complete installations with frequent to minimal supervision.\nRead and interpret floor plans, wiring diagrams, and installation documents.\nEducate homeowners on the operation and features of their systems.\nRun and conceal low-voltage wiring when required.\nConfigure wireless and network-connected devices.\nTroubleshoot installation and connectivity issues.\nEnsure installations are completed accurately and professionally.\nMaintain detailed service records and installation documentation.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance customers' security coverage and recommend additional products, services, and system upgrades that align with their safety needs and lifestyle.\nProvide excellent customer service during every interaction.\nAdhere to company safety standards and installation best practices.\nMaintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment.\nQualifications:\nVirginia DCJS license – preferred, ability to obtain is required.\nHS diploma or equivalent - required.\n1 - 3 years of industry experience - preferred.\nValid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history.\nCertified Alarm Technician level 1 or equivalent - preferred.\nCommunication:\nMust be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.\nTechnical:\nMust be able to understand technical functionality of various systems learned on-line and/or via hands-on instruction.\nPhysical Requirement:\nClimb ladders and work in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential environments.\nLift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.\nBend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.\nWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.\nOur Total Rewards package includes (but is not limited to):\nCompany Vehicle Provided to use for work.\nCompany Provided paid cell phone.\nCareer advancement opportunities\nCompetitive compensation with incentive eligibility\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage\nHSA/FSA programs\nCompany paid life and AD&D insurance.\nCompany paid short- and long-term disability.\nVoluntary benefit products\n401k retirement savings plan after just 60 days\n7 Company Holidays, plus 2 Floating holidays of your choice\nPaid Time Off\nTuition reimbursement\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nAbout Us:\nWe are one of the largest security integrators in the country and have proudly been installing innovative security and smart automation solutions in homes and businesses for more than 50 years.
