You’ll own projects from concept through production, collaborating across electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to deliver robust, production-ready hardware systems.\nIf you enjoy solving complex hardware problems, improving manufacturing processes, and working closely with both engineering and production teams, this role offers significant ownership and impact.\nThis is a full-time, on-site position in Golden, CO.\nWhat You’ll Do!!!\nElectrical Design & Integration\nDesign electrical wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and routing layouts using CAD tools\nInterpret electrical schematics and system diagrams to define connectivity and harness architecture\nSelect and validate wire gauges, insulation materials, shielding, connectors, terminals, and protective coverings\nEnsure designs meet environmental, electrical, mechanical, EMI/EMC, and reliability requirements\nPartner with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure proper fit, function, and system integration\nManufacturing & Process Development\nSet up and operate wire processing equipment, including cutting, stripping, and crimping machines\nDevelop and optimize manufacturing processes for both prototype and production builds\nTroubleshot manufacturing tools, equipment, and assembly issues\nRecommend and implement new tooling, fixtures, and production equipment to improve efficiency and quality\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across production workflows\nDocumentation & Production Readiness\nCreate and maintain harness drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, wire lists, and manufacturing documentation\nDevelop clear work instructions and assembly procedures for production teams\nEnsure documentation aligns with company standards and applicable industry requirements, including IPC/WHMA-A-620, AS50881, and ISO 9001\nTesting, Validation & Quality\nSupport prototype builds, bring-up, troubleshooting, and validation testing\nAnalyze and resolve design and production issues during development and manufacturing\nCreate and review test reports, FAIRs, inspection records, and validation documentation\nVerify assemblies meet customer requirements and quality standards\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, suppliers, and quality teams\nSupport supplier sourcing and component selection activities\nHelp bridge the gap between engineering design and scalable manufacturing\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of experience in cable assembly, wire harness design, or electronic manufacturing\nStrong understanding of harness manufacturing processes, materials, tooling, and assembly standards\nExperience with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and related industry standards\nProficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks\nHands-on experience with production tools, including DVMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, crimpers, soldering, microscopes, and wire processing equipment\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment\nExcellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills\nBonus Points\nExperience in cable assemblies for aerospace, robotics, automotive, defense, EV, or other high-reliability industries\nFamiliarity with EMI/EMC considerations and signal integrity\nExperience supporting technical sales, customer support, supplier management, or quality control initiatives\nExperience scaling products from prototype through production\nAdditional Requirements\nCandidates must possess current authorization to work for any employer within the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
