Ride Attendant - No Experience Required

No previous experience required. First Aid/CPR certification classes offered through Ocean Breeze Waterpark. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain knowledge of and consistently enforce the rules and regulations of the water park (including attraction requirements such as height restrictions, weight restrictions, proper riding position, etc.)Assist customers in safely riding attractionsProvide basic first aid and emergency careAttend weekly in-service training sessions as directed by management to maintain CPR and First Aid skillsCommunicate with others, including the use of emergency phones, whistles, and hand signalsBe attentiveMaintain a professional imageMaintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team membersProvide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient mannerAssist customers with all questions regarding Ocean Breeze WaterparkFollow park policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned Qualifications:Must be at least 16 years or olderAbility to successfully complete and pass a Jeff Ellis and Associate CPR/ First Aid/ AED training course.Ability to accept guidance and supervisionAbility to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadershipBe aware, attentive, and work well with othersAbility to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Physical Requirements:Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of timeAbility to climb stairsMust have hearing and speech, manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, and eye/hand coordinationMust be able to respond to situations quickly.
