About the role The LCSW/LPC will be responsible for coordinating daily services as well as coordinating inpatient mental health service and transfers to crisis intervention and state admissions, serve as the CBH Medical, mental health liaison for medical services, provide one-to-one intervention, and train CBH Medical, medical personnel. What you'll do Coordinate, monitor and administer mental health services within the medical department Evaluate Mental Health Status of individuals upon referral Serve as the mental health liaison for the medical unit Serve as the mental health liaison for medical services, outside health care facilities and other departments Provide crisis intervention and psycho-educational services to individuals served in the correctional facility Coordinate and facilitate admission and placement for individuals in need of forensic and community hospitals Work cooperatively with The Department of Mental Health, county or state agencies involved in providing mental health services to the public, court, judges and mental health services related to the courts Train CBH of VA, on Mental Health related issues Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
