Packer/Inspectors at Flexco typically start at $18.00/hour or more, depending on experience.\nPacker/Inspector\nThe hours will be: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday\nLocation: Grand Rapids\nDepartment: Unibar\nPurpose: To inspect and pack parts, assuring only good quality products are packed.\n\nWhat you will need:\n\nHigh School Degree or equivalent.\n0-2 years in inspection or packing position.\nBasic understanding of reports\nThe ability to:\nLift floor to shoulder 20 lbs.\nPush a maximum of 60 ft.\nReach less than 18 inches.\nSit majority of day.\nManage your own work load\nWhat you will be doing:\n\nInspect and pack parts or miscellaneous products as directed.\nAdhere to efficiency expectations\nOperate box folding machines.\nComplete all paperwork and/or documentation as required.\nEnsure stock levels are managed and inventory is accurate.\nParticipate in the suggestion system and Continuous Improvement programs as required.\nRequires several concerted routines and activities.\nPlans, organizes and prioritizes own work.\nPerforms work which requires routine independent decisions.\nJob instructions are readily available for assigned work\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
