The ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally is also required. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties):Deliver direct patient care in strict accordance with the CA's Nurse Practice ActConduct thorough assessments and provide treatments following established protocolsAdminister medications precisely, adhering to the "7 rights of medication administration."Possess extensive knowledge of orthostatic vital signs, comprehensive nursing assessments, accurate height/weight measurements, and patient schedule adherenceMaintain meticulous and timely documentation of all care providedActively participate in administrative duties, including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and chartingCommunicate vital patient status and care information to physicians and the Director of Nursing (DON)Monitor and promptly report any adverse reactions to medication or treatment to the DON and physiciansSkillfully manage urgent and emergent situations in line with company policies and proceduresProvide compassionate assistance during patient admissions and dischargesEducate residents and family members on prevention techniques and strategies to enhance their general health and psychosocial well-beingUphold the strictest confidentiality of all patient care information, including protected health informationAssist patients with daily hygiene routines and schedulesPerform other duties as assigned by the DON, contributing to the overall success of our patient care initiativesBenefitsFull benefits for full time employees
