We’ve built our company through a dedication to professionalism, first-rate customer service, and product integrity.\n\nAbout the Role:\nThe Facilities / EHS Specialist is responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant, efficient, and well-functioning workplace. This role combines day-to-day facilities coordination with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) responsibilities, as well as preventive maintenance and reliability of machinery and equipment.\n\nThe ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, safety-minded, and comfortable working across departments, coordinating vendors and contractors, maintaining equipment, and identifying and resolving workplace hazards before they become problems.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in EHS, Facilities Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.\n\n2-5 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, EHS, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environments.\n\nKnowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.\n\nExperience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment maintenance.\n\nExperience coordinating contractors, vendors, and facility services.\n\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nOSHA 30 certification or similar safety training.\n\nCSP, ASP, or related safety certification.\n\nExperience with CMMS or EHS management software.\n\nFirst Aid/CPR/AED certification.\n\nKnowledge of lockout/tagout, machine guarding, hazardous materials, and emergency response programs.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nFacilities Management\n\nCoordinate building maintenance, repairs, and daily facility operations.\n\nManage vendors, contractors, landlords, and service providers.\n\nSchedule and oversee preventive maintenance for facilities and equipment.\n\nMonitor and resolve facility issues involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, security, and general maintenance.\n\nMaintain facility records, permits, inspections, and service documentation.\n\nTrack facility-related expenses, purchase orders, and contracts.\n\nEnsure adequate inventory of maintenance, safety, and emergency supplies.\n\nMachinery & Equipment Preventive Maintenance\n\nDevelop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.\n\nCoordinate inspections, servicing, repairs, and calibration activities.\n\nTroubleshoot equipment problems and arrange timely corrective actions.\n\nMaintain maintenance records and track equipment performance.\n\nCoordinate outside service providers for specialized repairs and inspections.\n\nSupport equipment installations, upgrades, relocations, and decommissioning.\n\nMaintain spare parts inventory and ensure lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed.\n\nRecommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.\n\nSupport EHS programs, policies, and regulatory compliance.\n\nConduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.\n\nInvestigate incidents, injuries, and near misses, and track corrective actions.\n\nMaintain safety records, permits, and compliance documentation.\n\nCoordinate employee safety training and communications.\n\nSupport emergency preparedness programs and safety equipment inspections.\n\nManage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventories.\n\nPromote a strong workplace safety culture.\n\nCompliance & Continuous Improvement\n\nAssist with internal and external audits and inspections.\n\nDevelop and maintain procedures, work instructions, and documentation.\n\nTrack maintenance, safety, training, and compliance metrics.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment performance.\n\nPartner with operations, engineering, HR, and other departments on facility and safety initiatives.\n\nPhysical & Work Environment\n\nAbility to routinely walk through and inspect facility, warehouse, laboratory, manufacturing, and/or office areas.\n\nAbility to work around machinery, tools, electrical systems, chemicals, noise, temperature variations, and construction/maintenance activities, as applicable.\n\nAbility to occasionally lift, carry, or move safety, maintenance, and facility supplies and equipment.\n\nAbility to safely perform or oversee hands-on maintenance activities within the requirements of applicable safety procedures.\n\nMay require occasional work outside normal business hours in response to facility or equipment emergencies.\n\nSuccess in This Role\nSuccess in this position means maintaining a safe, reliable, and well-maintained workplace;
