Schedule, on-site requirements, and remote-work days may vary based on training, business needs, team coverage, meetings, or other operational requirements. Flexibility to work on-site or adjust scheduled hours as needed is required.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES\n\nEssential Functions:\nLeads Dispatch Staff in the delivery of dispatch services in accordance with the requirements established in the Program Statement of Work\nOversees tickets from creation to completion, verifying SLAs are met and deliverables are uploaded and checked for accuracy in accordance with prescribed KPI goals.\nBuilds and maintains contracted workforce and presence on the accompanying platform(s)\nCreates tickets based around failure or product on ticketing software platform\nPerforms ticket fulfilment for both product and technical dispatch\nTrains dispatch team to fulfill program requirements\nBe able to anticipate risks, provide solutions to escalations and oversee day-to-day dispatch functions\nInput, review and ensure data integrity for program reporting\nManage dispatchers to ensure coverage for PTO, employees out of office and holidays\nResource Coordination:\nEfficiently dispatch vehicles, team members, or equipment based on operational needs and priorities utilizing an automated work order ticketing system\nMonitor and track the status and location of resources in real-time\nEnsure optimal utilization of available resources to meet service demands and stay in budget\nTrack and communicate ticket and dispatcher trends to ensure proactive resolution of recurring issues\nCommunication:\nAct as a central point of contact for field personnel and management\nAct as the first point of escalation for dispatch team\nRelay important information clearly and concisely to ensure effective communication between all parties\nHandle incoming calls, requests, and emergency situations with professionalism and urgency\nProvide real-time status on customer requests\nScheduling:\nDevelop and maintain daily schedules for personnel and equipment\nAdjust schedules in real-time to respond to changing priorities, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances\nProblem Solving:\nQuickly assess and resolve issues related to resource allocation and deployment\nCollaborate with various departments to address challenges and streamline operations\nDocumentation:\nMaintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including time logs, incident reports, and resource availability\nGenerate reports on key performance indicators and operational metrics\nFoster a positive and collaborative work environment within the dispatch team\nCompliance:\nEnsure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards\nStay informed about relevant industry trends, technologies, and best practices\nReview tickets weekly to ensure dispatchers are meeting SLAs, KPIs, and professionalism requirements\n\nKEY COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Proficiency of Acquired Skills, Aptitude, Capability\n\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written\nAbility to multitask, prioritize, and make quick decisions under pressure\nProficient in using dispatch software and communication tools\nKnowledge of geographical areas and effective route planning\nExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Education, Certifications, Skills\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, dispatching, or a related field is a plus\nProven experience in a dispatch or logistics role, preferably in a fast-paced environment\nMust have strong computer skills and be able to work on various software programs, including but not limited to ticketing software, web programs, and MS Outlook, MS Word and Microsoft Excel\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS – WORK ENVIRONMENT\n\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
