Location: Remote (based in South Carolina)Schedule: Rotating shifts between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST, Monday through FridayJob Type: Contract PositionRate: Starting at $63.00/hourThe Clinical Engagement Services Center delivers a broad range of clinical programs designed to improve patient outcomes and support health plan performance. These services include Adherence, Diabetes Management, Fraud Waste & Abuse, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Retrospective Drug Utilization Review (RDUR), and STARS adherence. Our team is composed of clinical pharmacists, certified pharmacy technicians, and customer service representatives who collaborate to meet the operational needs of each program.ResponsibilitiesEngage members telephonically and schedule pharmacist consultations for clinical programs supported by the Clinical Engagement Services CenterUse prescription claims data to generate clinical recommendations in accordance with MTM and RDUR protocols, addressing gaps in care, high-risk medications, adherence, drug interactions, and therapeutic substitutionsAssess medication regimens for unnecessary medications, inappropriate dosing, and potential adverse drug reactionsProvide patient education on medications and disease statesDocument patient care notes and clinical recommendations clearly and professionallyStay current with emerging clinical trends and best practicesParticipate in departmental meetings to improve program effectiveness and operational processesAdhere to all organizational policies and proceduresMeet productivity and performance standards as defined by managementSupport special projects and other duties as assigned by the Operations ManagerRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of South CarolinaStrong clinical acumen and communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours within the designated shift windowSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionHealth Care ProviderIndustriesHospitals and Health Care and Health and Human Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
