In this role, you will act as a strategic financial leader, collaborating with site management and corporate teams to enhance profitability, operational performance, and cost efficiency. You will oversee all plant-level financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\nProvide financial leadership by advising site management on strategic decisions, production planning, and capital investments.\r\n\r\n\r\nLead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analyses to identify opportunities for performance improvement.\r\n\r\n\r\nManage cost accounting processes, including the development of standard costs and monitoring key manufacturing cost drivers.\r\n\r\n\r\nOversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.\r\n\r\n\r\nCollaborate with purchasing teams to validate product costs and support pricing or margin analysis.\r\n\r\n\r\nPrepare and present financial statements, dashboards, and reports for site and corporate leadership.\r\n\r\n\r\nMaintain robust internal controls that comply with corporate policies and audit standards.\r\n\r\n\r\nTrack and report capital expenditures while supporting post-project evaluations.\r\n\r\n\r\nDevelop strategies to optimize working capital and enhance cost performance.\r\n\r\n\r\nSupport sustainability and safety initiatives through financial analysis and tracking of related investments.\r\n\r\n\r\nRequirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting or a related field.\r\n\r\n\r\nProficiency in cost accounting, including standard cost development and month-end close processes.\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.\r\n\r\n\r\nFamiliarity with Oracle or similar financial systems.\r\n\r\n\r\nExcellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong leadership and team management capabilities.\r\n\r\n\r\nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate across departments. \r\n\r\n\r\nRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
