Sterling is committed to developing our employees, providing best in class customer service and being responsible stewards of the environment.\nPosition Summary:\nResponsible for making sure all flow traffic, inbound and outbound, have constant smooth flow and that all paper work is maintained and issued properly. Material Handler I handles the inside warehouse operations.\nEssential Functions:\nWithin the warehouse and yard, the Material Handler 3 Operates fork truck, wheel loader, and skid steer to unload inbound shipments and load outbound shipments for trucks as well as maintain the yard with skid steer.\nHelp drive and maintain organization of the warehouse and yard by maximizing space utilization and physically stocking products in the proper locations.\nParticipate in Cycle Counting and Physical Inventories within the warehouse and yard.\nParticipate in clean up initiatives in the warehouse and yard. Clean up includes activities such as picking up misc. debris from the yard to moving junk mats to the cull pile. Cleaning sawdust, painting, etc.\nCollecting all paperwork from drivers, (returns, receiving, signed BOL’s) and submit it to the receiving shack\nMaintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining, and aligning company policies that adhere to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations.\nComplies with and is an advocate of the company’s Environmental Policy and Procedures.\nPursue Continuous Improvement activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within area of responsibility.\nAssume other responsibilities and complete tasks as assigned to meet the on-going needs of the organization.\nOperate a fork truck or Wheel loader to move mats and lumber around the mat yard and warehouse.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nH.S.
