{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"325dc087ca0bff851896b60d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/325dc087ca0bff851896b60d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/325dc087ca0bff851896b60d","title":"Project Engineer","description":"DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nListed in order of relevance:\nProvide O&G and Power Generation Controls domain expertise in a multi-disciplinary engineering team.\nReview, Develop, and Prepare project documentation and drawings following standards, practices, and use of engineering tools as recommended by the department.\nCommunicate with customers, third party project representatives, and others to meet assigned project requirements for safety, quality, budget, and schedule while ensuring regional needs or requirements are built into processes, work instructions or templates globally.\nTravel to customer locations along with Team Lead, Account Managers or Senior Engineer, as necessary, in order to perform pre-sale activities including, site surveys, customer meetings, and other engineering activities.\nWork to proactively identify customer solutions and reinforce compliance to pre-determine standards and execution practices\nAssist in the development and scope of control strategies and software requirements.\nConfigure and conduct tests on control systems and develop specifications for third party equipment and instrumentation\nEnsure ERP, Supporting Documentation, Time Allocation, and Scheduled activities are properly recorded\nRespond to change productively and handle other duties as required.\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.\nExperience in control automation systems engineering or a related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience\nProject Management Certification or professional engineering license preferred.\nKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS\nSafety\nQuality of work and customer Satisfaction\nTime Management and work productivity.\nTeam Work to achieve the company goal.\nWork efficiency\nSelf-starter with ability to work individually and in teams\nVariance to goals using internal and external milestones\nComparison of what is sold to what is executed for hours and dollars.\nKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS\nUnderstanding of, or ability to learn CCC solutions\nDrive End knowledge including Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Reciprocating, and electric motor\nWork end knowledge including, axial, centrifugal and reciprocating compressor, pumps and generators\nKnowledge or ability to learn process Applications including Anti-Surge, Load share, Master, and Generation/ GPP/ Excitation\nKnowledge of PLC migrations\nKnowledge of electric panels design for control system housing and relevant testing\nUnderstanding of Controls Philosophy and engineering processes\nBasic computer skills; including basic PC setup and Microsoft Office products required.\nStrong Oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to read, speak, and write in English is required.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role will require frequent domestic and international travel.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
