Assembler
Role Summary
The Production Assembler performs fabrication, assembly, and finishing tasks to support manufacturing operations at the Lakeville facility. This role works across deck, railing, and miscellaneous metals products depending on assignment.
The Production Assembler is responsible for completing assigned work safely, accurately, and efficiently according to drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role supports daily production goals by following standard work, maintaining organization, and communicating issues to the Production Lead.
The Production Assembler does not own scheduling, inventory control, or quality systems but is accountable for personal workmanship, safe work practices, and reliable task execution.
Production Execution & Daily Work
Perform assigned fabrication, assembly, and finishing tasks Follow drawings, routings, work instructions, and verbal direction Complete work within expected time and quality standards Move work through assigned operations without unnecessary delay Notify the Production Lead of issues affecting flow or completion
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements Operate tools, machines, and equipment safely and as trained Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or incidents immediately Maintain clean work areas and safe material handling practices
Quality & Workmanship
Inspect own work to ensure it meets drawings and specifications Identify and report defects, damage, or errors Prevent scrap and rework through attention to detail Protect finished and in-process materials from damage
Equipment & Work Environment
Use tools, fixtures, and equipment properly Perform basic care of tools and report issues or malfunctions Keep workstations organized, clean, and efficient Follow material staging and flow lane requirements
Teamwork & Communication
Communicate clearly with Production Leads and teammates Accept coaching and feedback to improve performance Support cross-training and assist in other departments as needed Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
Pay: $20.00 per hour
