Position involves floating, or traveling, to different branch locations as needed.\r\nEssential duties and responsibilities include:\r\nAssists with balancing Vault, ATM, Night Drop, Coin Machine as assigned.\r\nAssists with proper scanning of bank documents and proof work.\r\nExercise judgment when applying holds and making check cashing decisions.\r\nCross train to be available to open basic new consumer accounts.\r\nAdheres to work schedule. Must be flexible in availability for work schedule.\r\nMaintains positive, friendly and professional attitude and appearance.\r\nLift coin bags up to 50 lbs.\r\nReceives, pays out cash, handles negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals and transfers.\r\nSets up, closes and balances teller station.\r\nRecords sales of monetary instruments.\r\nAssists customers with inquiries in person or by telephone.\r\nMaintains neat and well stocked teller area.\r\nCross sells bank products and services.\r\nFollows limits established for protection of customer accounts and bank safety and soundness.\r\nAdheres to bank policies and procedures.\r\nMay be required to work an alternative location within the region or market.\r\nThe ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.\r\nCompletes required BSA/AML and other required compliance training as assigned.\r\nPerform any other related duties as required or assigned.\r\nEducation and experience: Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\nCommunication skills: Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.\r\nMathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement.\r\nCritical thinking skills: Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out simple multi-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with limited variables.\r\nPhysical activities: While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; an. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.\r\nAdditional information: Required proficiencies include availability to float between work locations as needed and flexibility in availability for work schedule.
