The EHS Supervisor ensures employee safety, health, and environmental compliance. This position involves providing guidance, implementing processes, and fostering a safety culture within the organization. The EHS Supervisor collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. As the Maintenance Supervisor it is responsible for the maintenance department including Facilities, Mechanical Technicians, Tooling, and general maintenance operations. Leading maintenance operations and effectively communicating updates across the facility.\nEssential Job Functions Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, ISO 14001, and ISO 500001.\nConduct required inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.\nEnsure that material safety data sheets (MSD) are maintained and readily accessible.\nWork with the factory leadership team (FLT) to lead and coordinate the safety committee and employee training programs on various EHS topics.\nPartner with HR and department leaders to investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nManage relationships with regulatory agencies, conduct inspections, and ensure timely reporting and permit renewals.\nDevelop and maintain written compliance plans and programs, including an Emergency Response Plan, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, and Spill Prevention Plan.\nResponsible for Maintenance Team personnel, machine maintenance, and facility maintenance schedule repairs with third‑party companies and vendor preventative maintenance.\nMaintain e-maintenance software: WO Distribution, Model Shop WO, WO Closing, and Preventative Maintenance Orders (PM).\nMaintain inventory of tooling and replacement components for timely repair times and enforce lock-out/tag-out.\nEnsure facility improvements and compliance with fire department, landlord, electrical, and safety/OSHA requirements.\n*Other duties as required in support of the department and the company*.\nQualifications Experience integrating EHS management systems with ISO-9001-based quality management systems; ISO 13485 preferred.\nExperience in a Lean manufacturing environment preferred.\nExperience overseeing and improving ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 preferred.\nExtensive knowledge of U.S. regulatory requirements regarding RCRA, OSHA, EPA, etc.\nExperience developing and providing safety‑related technical training and developing written SOPs and programs.\nLeadership and people management experience (1–3 years).\nMachine knowledge and understanding (1–3 years).\nBackground in aerospace, defense, or cable assembly industries favored.\nA bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences with 3+ years of experience or 10+ years of experience in a technical engineering role.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations Certification in relevant EHS disciplines (e.g., CSP, CEP, CIH) preferred.\nCurrent OSHA 40‑hour hazardous waste operator.\nLanguage Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
