We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.Job Title: CMDB Dashboard DeveloperLocation(s): Coppell, TX or Costa Mesa, CARole OverviewThe BMC Helix CMDB Reporting Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining CMDB dashboards, KPI scorecards, executive reports, and data-quality analytics. The role requires strong hands-on experience with BMC Helix CMDB, Remedy ITSM, SQL, reporting, and CMDB governance.Platform Expertise3+ years of hands-on experience with BMC Helix CMDB, Remedy ITSM, or related BMC Helix modules. Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, Configuration Items (CIs), class hierarchy, attributes, and relationships. Experience with BMC Helix Dashboards, Smart Reporting, Helix Data Manager, or equivalent reporting technologies. Knowledge of ITIL Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) processes. Dashboard & Reporting SkillsDesign and develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and executive reports. Create drill-down reporting and trend analysis capabilities. Develop automated reporting and scheduled distribution of dashboards. Data & Analytics SkillsStrong SQL and data analysis capabilities. Experience with data modeling, ETL concepts, and integration reporting. Analyze large CMDB datasets and identify data-quality issues, including:Duplicate CIsOrphaned CIsMissing attributesRelationship inconsistenciesTechnical CompetenciesExperience working with APIs, integrations, and external data sources. Knowledge of CMDB governance, reconciliation, discovery, and data certification processes. Understanding of service mapping and CI relationship structures. Key ResponsibilitiesGather reporting requirements from CMDB, Asset Management, IT Operations, and Service Management stakeholders. Design, develop, and troubleshoot CMDB dashboards and KPI scorecards. Develop executive-level reporting to demonstrate CMDB maturity and business value. Document dashboard designs, data sources, KPI definitions, and reporting standards. Preferred QualificationsBMC Helix or Remedy certification. ITIL Foundation certification. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or enterprise analytics platforms. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, service mapping, and discovery tools. Success CriteriaAccurate and trusted CMDB reporting. Improved visibility into CMDB health and data quality. Executive dashboards that support operational and business decision-making. Measurable improvement in CMDB governance, compliance, and adoption.
