Our flagship Fund I (2022 vintage) has delivered top 10% performance, with investments made alongside Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, and Khosla Ventures in breakout companies including CoreWeave, Anduril, Glean, and Synthesia. We are currently deploying our second fund, Venture Growth Fund II, a diversified, multi-sector vehicle investing across AI/Technology, Fintech, Defense, and Consumer. Our approach blends deep fundamental analysis with multi-channel deal sourcing across both primary rounds and secondary markets, targeting high-conviction positions in the next generation of blue-chip companies. GoalVest has been featured in CNBC, Bloomberg, Barron's, USA Today, and Newsweek. The RoleWe are looking for a sharp, resourceful Associate to work directly alongside the Managing Partner as a true right hand across all facets of fund operations, deal sourcing, investor relations, and internal systems. This is not a back-office support role. You will be deeply embedded in the investment process, LP communications, and the technology infrastructure that powers our firm. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a financial model, drafting investor outreach, managing a CRM pipeline, and shipping a workflow automation. This is a part-time position (20 to 40 hours per week) with meaningful exposure to every dimension of running a venture growth fund. What You'll DoInvestment Operations & Deal SupportMaintain and manage deal, LP, founder, and VC pipelines in Affinity CRM, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates across all stages of engagementSupport due diligence efforts including company research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, and preparation of investment committee materialsSource and vet potential investments across primary rounds and secondary market channelsTrack portfolio company developments and flag relevant updates for the investment team Investor Relations & OutreachDraft and manage LP follow-up communications, post-meeting outreach, and co-investment syndication emailsExecute multi-channel outreach campaigns to LPs, VCs, and founders using tools like Apollo, Heyreach, and LinkedInPrepare and distribute LP-facing materials including newsletters, pipeline reports, and meeting summariesManage sequencing and scheduling of outreach cadences, tracking engagement and conversion across the funnel Systems, Automation & Internal ToolsBuild and optimize workflow automations that increase the team's operational leverageContribute to the development and refinement of internal AI-powered tools (email drafting, CRM enrichment, outreach sequencing)Improve prompts, templates, and protocols for AI-assisted processes across the firmProvide feedback and testing support on internal applications as they scale Reporting & AdministrationPrepare recurring reports including outreach metrics, meeting logs, and newsletter performanceManage and update shared drive materials, VDR documentation, and SPV-related records What We're Looking For Required1 to 3 years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, investment banking, or a closely related investing roleStrong understanding of the venture growth landscape: late-stage private companies, secondary markets, IPO dynamics, and how funds operateProficiency with CRM platforms (Affinity strongly preferred) and outreach/sequencing toolsExcellent written communication skills with the ability to draft polished, professional correspondence on behalf of the firmHigh attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently in a fast-paced, small-team environment Strongly PreferredFamiliarity with software development concepts and tools; comfort working with APIs, automation platforms, and AI-assisted workflows (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)Experience with financial modeling and valuation analysis for private companiesExisting network or exposure to the VC and founder ecosystem Who Thrives HereYou are proactive, not reactive.
