This role will focus on designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining software solutions used in sophisticated test and measurement environments.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with LabVIEW and TestStand, a background in automated test system development, and the ability to work closely with software, systems, and electrical engineering teams throughout the full project lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop automated test applications, instrument drivers, and test sequences using LabVIEW and TestStand\nBuild and support software solutions for test systems utilizing a variety of commercial test and measurement equipment\nPartner with Systems Architects and Electrical Engineers to ensure testability and optimal system implementation\nDefine, document, execute, and validate system test plans and acceptance criteria\nVerify software functionality and test coverage against requirements\nSupport deployment activities and provide technical handoff documentation to engineering and customer teams\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers throughout project execution\nParticipate in design reviews, milestone reviews, and system readiness assessments\nProvide ongoing support and sustainment for deployed test solutions\nTravel domestically and internationally as required to support project objectives\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizen with the ability to work on ITAR-regulated projects and qualify for DoD clearances\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline\n5+ years of experience developing automated test software using LabVIEW and TestStand\nExperience working with PXI-based test systems and integrating test equipment such as:\nOscilloscopes\nDigital Multimeters (DMMs)\nAnalog and Digital I/O devices\nData Acquisition (DAQ) systems\nPower supplies\nRF analyzers\nRF power sensors\nSwitching and signal routing systems\nExperience with communication interfaces and protocols including:\nGPIB\nUSB\nEthernet\nSerial communications\nUnderstanding of software development using one or more of the following:\nLabVIEW\nTestStand\nC/C++\nC#\nPython\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and within collaborative engineering teams\nProven ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nUnderstanding of electrical engineering concepts, electronics, and computer architectures\nExperience interpreting and developing electrical schematics\nCross-platform development experience in Windows and Linux environments\nNational Instruments LabVIEW Certification\nAdditional experience with Python, C#, or other modern programming languages\nCustomer-facing technical support or consulting experience\nWhat We're Looking For\nRecent, hands-on LabVIEW and TestStand development experience\nStrong automated test and instrumentation background\nExperience supporting complex engineering systems from design through deployment\nEffective communication skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams\nSelf-motivated professionals who thrive in technically challenging environments\n\nNote: Recent hands-on experience with both LabVIEW and TestStand is essential.\n\nIf this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
