{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"3228db94d8baf900dd2aa667","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3228db94d8baf900dd2aa667","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3228db94d8baf900dd2aa667","title":"Senior Instructor - FACDEV","description":"*This position is contingent on contract award*\n\nJob purpose\n\nThe Senior Instructor for Faculty Development develops, maintains, and teaches CDET Faculty Orientation courses and provides faculty-development expertise across officer and enlisted professional military education programs.\n\nDuties and responsibilities\n\nProvide simultaneous FD SME services specific to each DEP's curricula to support the prospective faculty for CDET OPME (CSCDEP and EWSDEP), and EPME (the three ECDEP programs).\nMaintain subject matter proficiency in developing teaching faculty for onsite or online nonresident delivery.\nMaintain current knowledge of education theory and teaching techniques supported by available technology.\nRevise, update, and maintain two major FD courses, Faculty Orientation (FacO) 101 and FacO 201 for officer and enlisted PME courses.\nMaintain FacO 101 and 201 student and faculty course sites.\nDevelop FacO 101, and 201 schedules based on the timing and needs of the government.\nDevelop program/learning outcomes and lesson objectives using Bloom's revised taxonomy and andragogy to accomplish FD educational outcomes.\nEstablish and electronically maintain FD courseware, curriculum and assessment version control.\nCreate and safeguard FD course assessments electronically.\nElectronically document the linkages between course lesson objectives and assessments.\nDevelop electronic answers and reference keys for course assessments.\nDevelop and maintain an electronic mapping document demonstrating appropriate linkages between issues for discussion and specific educational objectives and learning outcomes.\nMaintain electronic files of all documents, assessments, graphics, readings, electronic media and supporting information for the FD courses.\nMaintain and manage the master LSS course sites, keeping them current.\nAnswer questions from the field on all aspects of FD courses.\nTeach every FacO 101 and 201 online seminars according to the approved schedule.\nParticipate in Course Content Review Boards (CCRB) and prepare electronic reports and/or briefings on IR findings on faculty for each course in each OPME, and EPME programs.\nParticipate in mid-year reviews located at a designated regional office and the CDET annual summer FD workshop located in Quantico.\n\nQualifications\n\nGraduate from PME commensurate with rank in either a resident or nonresident status.\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor's degree.\nMaster's degree strongly desired.\n\nYears of Relative Work Experience:\n\nTwenty (20) years of relevant experience including, but not limited to, in the United States Marine Corps while serving as a Field Grade Officer or Senior SNCO.\n\nClearance:\n\nMinimum Tier 1 background investigation and Government-access eligibility are required;
