We are looking for safety focused, dependable CDL Class A Truck Drivers who take pride in providing exceptional customer service and delivering building materials accurately and on time.\nOur drivers play a critical role in building strong relationships with our customers. Whether you're an experienced driver or just beginning your CDL career, we provide hands-on training for qualified candidates.\nMonday - Friday schedule. (no weekend work)\nEarly morning start times, varying by route.\nLocal routes home daily.\nRegional route require staying out overnight. (2 - 3 nights per week)\n34 hour restarts at home guaranteed.\nDeliveries made during business hours. (7 AM – 5 PM)\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely operate a CDL Class A tractor trailer to deliver building materials throughout the Upper Midwest while complying with all DOT, state, and local regulations.\nComplete pre trip and post trip inspections and report mechanical issues or safety concerns.\nProperly secure loads using straps and other load securement equipment.\nAssist with loading and unloading building materials as needed.\nMaintain accurate driver logs, bills of lading, inspection reports, delivery receipts, and other required DOT documentation.\nFollow dispatch instructions, plan efficient routes, and communicate delivery updates, delays, or issues with dispatch and customers.\nPerform basic vehicle maintenance checks, including monitoring fluids and identifying maintenance needs.\nTake photographs of delivered loads using the BisTrack scanning system.\nProvide outstanding customer service while representing Manion's professionally.\nComply with all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and DOT regulations.\nParticipate in federally required drug and alcohol testing programs.\nQualifications\nValid CDL Class A driver's license.\nCurrent DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nAt least 20 years of age.\nOne year of commercial driving experience preferred, but not required, we provide hands-on training for qualified candidates.\nAbility to pass a pre employment drug screen and background check.\nStrong communication and customer service skills.\nCommitment to safety and professionalism.\nWork Environment\nDrivers work in a variety of outdoor environments and weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold.
