May require use of a high clearance sprayer or floater.\nPick up and deliver product to customers as needed.\nWork with customers in a courteous and professional manner.\nEducate customers on products being applied to fields, techniques utilized, and how you can continue to support them with products and services.\nAssist the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met.\nPerform warehouse work including driving loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance.\nEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.\nMaintain cleanliness of vehicle(s) inside and out, and work environment.\nComplete and document daily maintenance inspections. Ensure proper equipment maintenance is completed including repairs and preventive maintenance.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications (required)\nValid Class A CDL\n1+ years of experience in Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agriculture Application\nMust meet minimum age requirement\nAbility to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals\nAdditional Qualifications\nMaintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card\nAbility to work additional hours and occasional weekends\nHigh School diploma or GED preferred\nHazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred\nAgriculture background and customer experience preferred\nBulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift 75 lbs\nAbility to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer\nAbility to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures\n\nCHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
