Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center - Director of TherapyBrinton Manor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Therapy to lead our team of dedicated rehabilitation specialists. As a Director of Therapy, you will be responsible for overseeing, teaching, and mentoring a team of therapists in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical care.Duties/Responsibilities:Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and organization of all departmental paperwork, including conducting documentation auditsPlan accordingly and coordinate schedules to achieve maximum efficiency staff based on clinical needs and treatment activity of staff membersWork pro-actively to build, manage, and schedule PRN pool, as neededEstablish and promote clinical programs/enhancement as indicatedEngage in recruiting interviews, employee development, goal setting, constructive feedback, corrective actions, performance appraisalsDevelop professional working relationships with staff, facility team members, residents, and resident family membersPrompt preparation and delivery of any regular or ad hoc reports; as well as the ability to analyze, interpret, and achieve budget expectations on a consistent basisSkills:Previous leadership experience preferredSNF/Long-term care experience preferredCurrent knowledge of treatment practicesKnowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferredAbility to manage patients with different types of personalitiesRequired Licensure:Current Therapy License in the State of PA.
