The Developer is responsible for the successful delivery of components and technologies that extend the Salesforce platform to achieve our customers business requirements. These technologies include, but are not limited to Salesforce products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, Amazon Web Services, Heroku, mobile development technologies, and integration/ETL technologies.\n\nIn this role, we are looking for someone with expertise in Salesforce and hands-on experience on the different Salesforce clouds, Integration, Data Management, Apex/Visualforce and Lightning (Aura and LWC).\n\nRole Responsibilities:\nManage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation\nAbility to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues\nLiaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations\nCoach and mentor junior developers\nConduct peer reviews of code and test classes\nFamiliar with DevOps, source code, version control management, and code deployment standards\nExperience/Skills Required:\n2-4 years hands-on development experience on the Salesforce platform\nMinimum of an active Salesforce Administrator or other Salesforce certification required\nUnderstanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, Community, CPQ Clouds\nStrong Javascript/Front end Skills\nStrong LWC or Aura development skills.\nKnowledge on various asynchronous capabilities in salesforce and its use cases\nStrong expertise on web service.\nNeed to have clear understanding of MVC architecture\nUnderstanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions\nUnderstanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices\nUnderstanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture\nStrong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies\nMust have full-time permanent US work authorization\nAdditional Preferred Experience/Skills:\nBachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience\nSalesforce PD1 certification highly preferred, or willingness to achieve PD1 certification within six months of start date\nAchieves one technical certification each quarter as specified by immediate supervisor/manager\nTravels with client or project team as needed building skills\nWhy Coastal, and what we offer:\nFlexible working hours with an emphasis on a life-work balance (in that order!)\nFully remote work; “Live by the beach, work in the Cloud,” plus company office locations in Palm Coast, FL; Atlanta, GA; Tysons, VA & Lexington, KY\nUnlimited Paid Time Off (RTO), 401K with Company Match, and Medical, Vision, & Dental coverage\nCompetitive quarterly and annual bonus opportunities\nContinuing education and certification reimbursements, specifically within the Salesforce and Snowflake ecosystems; plus occasional in-house competitions with spot bonuses\nA flexible and fun team culture!
