The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining applications and services built primarily on the Microsoft technology stack.\n\nThe role requires a combination of .NET development, IIS administration, database development, application deployment, troubleshooting, and production support experience. The candidate will work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams in an Agile environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop, configure, deploy, and maintain .NET web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and desktop applications.\nWork with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.\nConfigure and manage Microsoft IIS, including application pools, site bindings, and SSL certificates.\nInstall, configure, renew, and troubleshoot SSL certificates.\nConfigure connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and deployment configurations.\nWork with MS SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, and perform basic database maintenance.\nWork with Oracle databases and SQL development.\nUse Git/Git Bash for repository management, branching, cloning, and code updates.\nBuild, debug, and troubleshoot applications across development, QA, and production environments.\nPerform unit testing and regression testing to ensure application quality and stability.\nTroubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.\nSupport application deployments and ensure deployment readiness across multiple environments.\nWork with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.\nUtilize JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap to support application interfaces.\nParticipate in peer code reviews and follow established development standards.\nCollaborate with team members using Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, and Agile workflows.\nMaintain proper version control and branching strategies.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and application development best practices.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nStrong hands-on experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.\nExperience developing and supporting web applications, APIs, web services, and Windows services.\nExperience with Microsoft IIS configuration and administration.\nStrong experience with MS SQL Server, including SQL queries and stored procedures.\nExperience with Oracle databases and SQL.\nExperience with Git/Git Bash and source-code management.\nExperience with application deployment and troubleshooting across multiple environments.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.\nExperience with JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap.\nExperience with unit and regression testing.\nStrong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nExperience with Jira or similar Agile project management tools.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with REST APIs and web services.\nExperience supporting enterprise applications in development, QA, and production environments.\nExperience with automated application deployment and release processes.\nExperience with SSL certificate management.\nExperience with application configuration and environment management.\nExperience working in large enterprise environments.\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nProgramming: .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#\nWeb/Application: IIS, Web Applications, APIs, Web Services, Windows Services\nDatabases: MS SQL Server, Oracle, SQL\nFront End: JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap\nVersion Control: Git, Git Bash\nDevOps: CI/CD, Automated Deployment\nTesting: Unit Testing, Regression Testing\nProject Management: Jira, Agile/Scrum\nOther: SSL Certificates, Application Configuration, Production Support\n\nWork Arrangement\n\nThis is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote at 2 Broadway, New York, NY.
