This role is ideal for a technology professional with strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience supporting Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.Location: Poughkeepsie, NYDuration: Ongoing ContractKey Responsibilities:Provide first-level and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devicesTroubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issuesInstall, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11, Linux, and macOS systemsPerform system upgrades, patch management, and hardware replacements including RAM and SSD upgradesSupport networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivityDeliver in-person, phone, and remote support while maintaining high customer satisfactionDocument incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures within ticketing systemsAssist with workstation setups, equipment deployment, and IT inventory managementRequired Skills & Qualifications:Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Linux, and macOS environmentsExperience troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devicesBasic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication skills with a customer-first mindsetAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Experience:1-3 years of experience in helpdesk, desktop support, or IT support roles preferred Education:Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 30-50 lbs.Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
