In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a cross-functional team with the backing of executive leadership and an existing diverse, high-profile regional portfolio.\r\nJob ResponsibilitiesLeverage an entrepreneurial demeanor to drive Business Development activities by developing new clients for the firm and maintaining relationships with existing clients;\r\nWork closely with regional leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization;\r\nDemonstrate experience in all aspects of land development engineering including the integration of geotechnical and environmental engineering;\r\nLead site/civil efforts on a variety of project sites including the ability to design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion;\r\nDesign and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients; and\r\nPerforms other duties as requested.\r\nQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;\r\n15+ years of successful, local and related site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on both small and large projects;\r\nProfessional Engineering license;\r\nStrong client development and client management abilities;\r\nSite/civil experience on a variety of project sites including the ability to design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion;\r\nProficiency of AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred;\r\nActive participation in professional organizations;\r\nExperience in technical and proposal writing;\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills;\r\nStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;\r\nAbility to effectively work independently and in a team environment; and\r\nPossess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver's license in good standing.\r\nLangan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives.
