Job Title: Senior Epic Resolute Revenue Cycle Administrator (HB/PB/SBO)Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Epic Administrator with a deep specialization in Resolute Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), and Single Billing Office (SBO) environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex revenue cycle operations, overhauling denial frameworks, and leading large-scale system optimizations. This role requires a technical expert who can bridge the gap between IT configuration and financial operations to drive KPI improvements and system automation.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Configuration & Maintenance: Lead the build, configuration, and maintenance of Epic Resolute HB and PB modules, including Charge Router, Claims, Remittance, and Reimbursement contracts.Workflow Optimization: Redesign and optimize complex workqueue (WQ) structures, including Account, Charge Review, Claim Edit, Denial, and Adjustment Review WQs to improve staff efficiency and reduce aging AR.Automation & Efficiency: Implement advanced system automation using System Actions, SmartText letter automation, and insurance credit/adjustment automation to streamline manual processes.Claims & Revenue Integrity: Troubleshoot complex claim failures, manage CDF (Claim Definition File) build, and configure claim splitting logic, TOB overrides, and modifier logic to ensure clean claim submission.Financial Integration: Build and maintain General Ledger (GL) interfaces, Cost Center Assignment Tables (CCAT), and third-party vendor extracts/imports (e.g., Bad Debt, Propensity to Pay, Collections).Reporting & Analytics: Design and deploy executive-level dashboards (Radar) and Reporting Workbench (RWB) reports to track KPIs such as DNFB, denial trends, and net recovery.Project Leadership: Lead technical workstreams for hospital acquisitions, SBO conversions, and Epic version upgrades (Nova task management and integrated testing).Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a primary liaison between Patient Financial Services (PFS), HIM, and clinical departments to resolve billing incidents stemming from clinical documentation or charge capture errors.Required QualificationsEpic Certifications: Current certification in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) / (PB) Administrator and Single Billing Office (SBO) is mandatory.Experience: Minimum of 10–12 years of hands-on experience as an Epic Analyst or Administrator within a large healthcare organization or consultancy.Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge of the Charge Router, CDF, and RMO Masterfiles.Proficiency in Data Courier and change management processes.Experience with specialized billing workflows (e.g., Solid Organ Transplant, Home Health/HHB, FQHC, and Method 2 billing for Critical Access Hospitals).Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field.Preferred SkillsStrong understanding of 835/837 EDI files and payer remittance mapping.Experience with third-party integrations (e.g., Service Now, Lawson, Emdeon).Ability to perform staffing benchmark analysis and lead "deep dive" denial meetings with operations.Proven ability to manage a high volume of backlog tickets while simultaneously leading "special projects" and system overhauls.
