Westlake Pipe & Fittings is an industry leader in product development with Certa-Lok spline-lock technology and product systems that are focused on building A Better Foundation.We're looking for a hands-on, people-focused Production Superintendent to lead operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and team engagement across all production activities. You'll lead frontline teams, partner cross-functionally, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that directly influence plant performance and business results.Leadership & OperationsLead, coach, and develop production teams to achieve safety, quality, and performance targets in a 24/7 operationOversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring efficient use of labor, equipment, and materialsProvide technical leadership across line setup, troubleshooting, metrics tracking, and process optimizationDrive execution of production schedules to meet customer demand and operational KPIsSafety & ComplianceChampion a strong safety culture by maintaining a clean, compliant, and hazard-free work environmentLead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementationServe as backup to Plant Manager with case management of injured employeesFacilitate safety training and manage employee work restrictions effectivelyTalent & People DevelopmentLead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention of production employeesManage performance through coaching, feedback, and corrective action while fostering engagementBuild team capability through training, development, and succession planningContinuous ImprovementIdentify and implement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and enhance product qualityPartner with engineering, maintenance, quality, and innovation teams to drive operational excellenceLead projects that address current business challenges and support long-term objectivesSystems & ReportingManage production orders and transactions in SAP, including troubleshooting and issue resolutionTrack, analyze, and report key performance metrics to leadershipSupport payroll processes and provide backup coverage for Production Supervisors as neededWhat You Bring5+ years of experience in PVC extrusion or similar manufacturing environmentProven leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production settingStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and maintenance coordinationExperience with SAP, Workday (or similar HRIS), and Microsoft OfficeDemonstrated ability to lead teams, drive engagement, and deliver measurable improvementsStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levelsEducation: Technical diploma or degree preferredWhy Join Us?Competitive base salary + performance bonus tied to plant KPIsOpportunity to lead in a high-visibility role with real operational impactCollaborative, cross-functional team environmentStrong focus on safety, innovation, and continuous improvementCareer growth and professional development opportunitiesWestlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
