Join a team that values relationships, creativity, and long-term career growth.Fox Pest Control is seeking a full-time, in-person writer, editor, and communications professional who can turn notes, conversations, and business input into clear, polished content. This role supports internal and external communications across recurring and special projects, including the development of an annual 200-page Culture Book, website and landing page content, print materials, email copy, community initiatives, and other written projects across the business. The right candidate will be comfortable interviewing stakeholders, organizing information, managing deadlines, and moving content projects forward across teams. This is not primarily a social media, graphic design, or paid media role. It is focused on writing, editing, content development, and project coordination.Responsibilities Write and edit internal communications, newsletters, website copy, landing page copy, email copy, print materials, campaign messaging, executive summaries, event communications, and other written projects across the businessHelp develop and produce an annual 200-page Culture Book by gathering information, conducting interviews, organizing written content, and helping move the project through completionGather information through interviews, follow-up, and collaboration with branches, leaders, and internal teams, then turn it into clear, audience-ready communicationSupport community and culture-focused initiatives such as Foxgiving, Make-A-Wish, and other special projects through writing, coordination, and content developmentIdentify and write stories for internal and external visibility, including contributions to Rollins Today quarterly and outreach to relevant industry publicationsManage content projects from draft to final delivery, including gathering input, tracking revisions, coordinating approvals, and keeping deadlines on trackMaintain consistency, tone, and quality across written materialsCollaborate with design, marketing, and internal teams to support final asset developmentEdit for clarity, grammar, structure, brand voice, and audience fitPerform other duties as assignedQualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field3+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, communications, content, editorial, journalism, public relations, or a related roleStrong writing and editing skills across multiple formats and audiencesProven ability to organize incomplete or complex information into clear, useful communicationExperience conducting interviews or gathering information to develop stories, articles, or content piecesExperience managing multiple deadlines and projects at onceStrong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to work well across teams and communicate clearly with different stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications Experience in editorial, journalism, public relations, higher education communications, or in-house content rolesExperience writing both internal and external communicationsPublic relations or media relations experienceExperience supporting leadership or executive communicationsExperience collaborating with designers and creative teamsFamiliarity with editorial calendars, approval workflows, and project management toolsExperience shaping long-form content or recurring publicationsWhat This Role Is Not a social media manager rolea graphic design rolea paid media or digital acquisition rolea pure brand strategy roleWhat We Offer Base Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 per yearHealth Insurance: Medical, Dental, and Vision for full-time employees401(k): Generous company matchPaid Time Off: Available for full-time employeesCareer Development: Individualized Leadership Plans for every team memberTraining: Paid, hands-on learning opportunitiesApplication Requirements To be considered, candidates should submit: a resume2 to 4 writing samplesa short note explaining their role in each sample, including whether they wrote it, edited it, or contributed collaborativelyFox Pest Control is an Equal Opportunity / Protected Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities Employer#FPC123
