CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.\n3rd Shift: 12:00am - 8:00am, Monday-Friday\nThe Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises, controlling access to facilities, and preventing theft, violence, or other illegal activities.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nRespond promptly to alarms, security breaches, and emergencies.\nConduct regular patrols of the warehouse premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity.\nMonitor designated CCTV systems and fire alarm systems, promptly addressing any security or safety concerns according to established protocols.\nMaintain accurate records of security-related activities, including incident reports and logbooks.\nMonitor vehicles entering and exiting the facility.\nDocument and report security incidents, hazards, or breaches to the relevant authorities.\nMonitor and regulate daily access for employees and visitors, controlling entry and exit points.\nProvide assistance to employees and visitors as necessary for safety and security concerns, as well as offering guidance and directions within the facility.\nCollaborate with warehouse management and other security personnel to implement security procedures and protocols.\nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.\nAll other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nProven experience in security or related field preferred.\nValid driver’s license required.\nCapable of intervening in physical altercations to prevent assault, managing disruptive individuals, and deterring unauthorized entry, while prioritizing safety and de-escalation techniques.\nAbility to take control and give clear instructions to visitors and employees during safety or security incidents, remaining calm and composed under pressure.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nCapable of providing clear guidance to ensure adherence to facility rules and regulations, especially concerning entry and exit protocols.\nFamiliarity with CCTV and Access Control systems, including their functions and operations.\nBasic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.\nAbility to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.\nStrong observation and surveillance skills.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nPrevious experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.\nPrior leadership experience.\nEducational Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent work experience.\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions\nWarehouse environment.\nThe ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.\nThe ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.\nThe ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.\n\nYou will love working in our family-oriented company!
