At TW Constructors, we build more than facilities, we build community support and success.\n\nThe Role:\n\nThe Project Engineer will be based on the construction project site, and may even travel to sites across the country. The Project Engineer will provide support to the project staff to ensure quality and timely execution of design/build, self-perform projects from design to completion. These phases include: Scheduling, bidding, permitting, subcontractor buyout, cost reporting, preparation of subcontracts, the handling of owner coordination, construction quality oversight, and project closeout. Travel or relocation will be required.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nEffectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and co-workers\nActively contribute to the project schedule and close-out process\nAssist Superintendent in the management of subcontractors.\nMonitor project labor, project costs, and equipment needs\nParticipate in the design development process to collaborate and value engineer construction methods to reduce time and cost\nAssist in the preconstruction, quality, and safety processes\nEstablish and maintain project schedules and budgets, responsible for overall project delivery\nEnsure contractor compliance of safety/OSHA requirements are met on all job sites to minimize risk\nManage submittal process, change order negotiations and contract compliance\nEstablish effective relationships and strive for a collaborative team environment\nProvide pricing for changes in project scope\nOur projects are nationwide - Travel or relocation will be required\nQualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field of study\n1-5 years of experience in commercial project management\nSuccessful internships or project engineering experience is a plus\nDesign-Build experience is ideal\nActive jobsite experience and strong safety record\nAbility to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.\nSignificant knowledge of construction methods as well as an understanding of municipalities and the permit processes\nAbility to manage subcontractors and vendors\nProven ability to negotiate and track change orders, submittals, RFI's, and pay requests\nAbility to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time\nProven ability to direct Superintendent to ensure accurate completion of project scope\nDocumented ability to meet sensitive timelines\nStrong knowledge of Building Code and Safety Regulations\nStrong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel, and MS Project or other Project Management software\nProcore Certified or knowledge and skill in Procore\nAbility to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.\nAbility to lift objects at least 50lbs.\nWe are a drug free work place, must be able to pass pre and random drug tests\nSelf-motivated and able to lead and motivate team members\nThoughtful and confident decision making skills with high ethical standards\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nGood interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism\nProblem solving skills and the ability to think and react quickly under pressure\nService-oriented approach in working with owners, co-workers, and any joint venture partners\nStrong attention to detail and high level of organization\nReliable, dependable and professional with a strong sense of urgency\nWhy People Choose TW Constructors\n\nTW Constructors is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and safe workplace where people feel connected, valued, and able to reach their full potential.
