This role is responsible for building and assembling wire harnesses and related electronic components in accordance with customer specifications, route sheets, and company workmanship standards.\nThis position plays an essential role in ensuring product quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery.\nKey ResponsibilitiesAssembly (Primary Focus)\nBuild wire harness assemblies according to route sheets, drawings, and workmanship standards\nAssemble and attach wires, connectors, sleeving, labels, and hardware per specifications\nStrip, crimp, prepare, and label wire as required\nOperate wire cutting and stripping machines, manual and semi-automatic crimping tools, and other assigned tooling\nRead and interpret low-complexity drawings, schematics, and flowcharts\nUse measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers\nIdentify and properly use hand tools (e.g., Phillips vs. Pozidriv screws)\nFollow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling procedures\nAccount for materials, labeling, and packaging requirements\nQuality & Standards Support\nAdhere to BCP Systems workmanship standards at all times\nMaintain clean and organized work area\nAssist in troubleshooting minor assembly issues\nBecome IPC/WHMA-A-620 certified (minimum Module 1)\nSupport team members as needed to meet production deadlines\nQualifications\nAbility to receive and understand verbal instructions (English proficiency required; conditional exceptions may apply)\nBasic computer skills and ability to adapt to new systems\nAbility to read and comprehend route sheets and assembly instructions\nMechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail\nExperience in manufacturing or cable assembly preferred but not required\nOn-the-job training provided\nWork Environment\nManufacturing environment with moderate noise level\nRegular sitting, standing, bending, and walking\nFrequent use of hands to handle tools and components\nWorks under normal supervision following established procedures\nWhy This Role Matters\nThis position plays a vital role in maintaining product quality and meeting customer delivery expectations.
