The role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on experience with aircraft systems and technical data tools, and the ability to lead, collaborate, and travel in support of program needs.\n\nPlease note the Technical Data Engineer III-Inspections position is an onsite position in Warner Robins, Georgia and is contingent upon contract award.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n\nTechnical Data Engineer III-Inspections is responsible for the overall execution and day-to-day operation of all areas of the Korean F-15 structural inspection Country Standard Technical Orders (CSTOs)\nPerforms validation/verification testing of system and components.\nEnsure production/development and timely/quality delivery of F-15 structural inspection systems CSTOs\nInterpret engineering data, engineering change proposals and other changes and directives and incorporate them into F-15 system CSTOs\nUtilize Adobe FrameMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Distiller software to update existing and develop new CSTOs and illustrations.\nDevelop maintenance data on new systems incorporated into the aircraft and support technical data.\nConfigures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.\nInterface with USAF, Customer, and other contractor personnel\nHelp other team members during periods of peak production requirements.\nContinue building the technical strength of the group to support future program needs.\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\n\nF-15 knowledge (a plus), experience, and recognized ability to be considered an expert in technical field.\nDemonstrate the ability to independently perform technical tasks and collaborate effectively with junior and mid-level personnel.\nTravel in support of technical data conferences, meetings, reviews, validations, verifications, and other technical data related activities when requested (Such travel may be both CONUS and OCONUS)\nFamiliarization with AF field and depot level maintenance activities, AF tech data, material qualification & acquisition systems, and AF maintenance policies & programs.\nExpectations\n\nClear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.\nInspire and motivate a technical writing team to achieve common goals.\nFlexibility in handling changing project requirements and team needs.\nFoster a collaborative environment for effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.\nAbility to analyze challenges and find practical solutions.\nPrioritize tasks and manage workload to support project timelines and deliverables.\nStay aware of team workflows and assist with addressing technical needs or issues.\nContribute to effective problem-solving and a positive, professional work environment.\nApply sound judgment and technical expertise to keep assigned projects on track.\nShare knowledge and technical insights to support colleague skill development.\nEducation and Experience\n\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field or both (Subject Matter Expert)\nMin 10 yrs. technical data update experience in a related field\nF-15 related experience a plus or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications.\nSpecial Requirements\n\nU.S. Citizenship\nPentecom is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in employment practices based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or genetic information.
