{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"31bc7ce37e50ad054f46fe71","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/31bc7ce37e50ad054f46fe71","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/31bc7ce37e50ad054f46fe71","title":"Senior Project Manager (Req #1402)","description":"Overview\n\n*Hybrid remote opportunity for candidates geographically located in or near Durham, North Carolina with a willingness to work on-site in ePlus' Durham office and on customer sites within the region as necessary.*\n\nAs a Senior Project Manager, you will support the Project Management Office leading both internal and external projects by managing communications and expectations with the customer as well as achieving goals and managing the project budget.\n\nYour Impact\n\nThe essential functions of this position include:\n\nThe Senior Project Manager will act as a mentor to Project Managers and could take on complex Projects at ePlus strategic accounts\nOversee, train, assist and develop the Project staff\nRun complex projects/programs from design and development to production\nDefine requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment\nWork with Service Directors to define resource requirements and determine schedules for project implementation\nCreate strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning\nPlan and schedule project deliverables, goals and milestones\nDirect and oversee project engineering team and manage conflicts within group\nPerform team assessments and evaluations\nFacilitate team and client meetings effectively\nHold regular status meetings with project team\nDemonstrate leadership to define requirements for project risk\nWork with Presales to develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for external services\nManage and maintain technical and project documentation\nManage day-to-day operational aspects and scope of projects\nReview deliverables prepared by team before passing to client\nEffectively apply ePlus methodology and enforce project standards\nMinimize exposure and risk on projects\nTrack and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis\nManage project budget\nDetermine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for project\nFollow-up with clients regarding unpaid invoices, as necessary\nAnalyze project profitability, revenue, margin, bill rates and utilization\nContinually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships\nAssure legal project documents are completed and signed\nIdentify business development and \"add-on\" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project\nChallenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor\nDevelop lasting relationships with client personnel that fosters client ties\nCommunicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions\n\nAs a manager, you are also expected to:\n\nLead and guide team members, fostering growth through mentoring, coaching, and development, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration.\nPromote an environment of inclusivity and respect, valuing diverse perspectives and encouraging open dialogue among all team members.\nCollaborate on strategic initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and positive change within the organization.\nCultivate a proactive approach to conflict resolution, striving for amicable solutions and escalating concerns as needed.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Technology or related field\nPMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent\nMinimum 10 years of project management or IT Management experience\nMinimum 5 years of experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes\nInformation Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or other best practices certification is a plus\nStrong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills\nExpert Knowledge of PMBOK, Six Sigma\nProfessional demeanor and good communication skills\nUnderstand revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections; make decisions accordingly\n\nPosition Specifics\n\nThe initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $110,000 and $160,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.\n\nePlus offers a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility, employee stock purchase program and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
