We want to crush the competition and be the best contract manufacturing partner on those jobs where we drive the greatest impact with our decidedly better high-volume molding efficiencies.\r\nFull-Time/Part-Time - Full-Time\r\nJob SummaryProvides leadership and direction to the manufacturing team in a manner that ensures the operation meets or exceeds customer requirements as well as all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.\r\nEssential FunctionsSupervises staff to produce manufactured products, and organizes and monitors workflow.\r\nEnsure proper attendance of all staff, and discipline when necessary.\r\nWork with HR on performance management, disciplinary processes, and all other employee relations issues.\r\nInterview potential candidates including: evaluating, site tours, and making final decision on hiring.\r\nAccomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.\r\nResponsible for overall shift operations in all value streams and supporting shift functions ensuring that customer requirements are exceeded, costs are controlled and quality/regulatory requirements are met.\r\nImproves processes by monitoring and upgrading processes, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.\r\nCompletes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results on shift production summaries.\r\nMaintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.\r\nProvides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.\r\nMaintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.\r\nPartner with Director of Engineering, Director of Supply Chain, Director of Quality to ensure new product process and procedures are followed and product launch schedules are met.\r\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.\r\nQualifications, Education, Skills, and/or Experience RequiredHigh School diploma/GED; Degree in relevant field will be an advantage\r\n2-4 years' relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment\r\nPrior supervisory or leadership experience\r\nOrganizational and leadership abilities\r\nCommunication and interpersonal skills\r\nPhysical Requirements:\r\nAble to lift up to 40 pounds\r\nStanding, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing-pulling, and reaching\r\nEOE Statement - We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
