Working with steel, aluminum & plastics, you will be responsible for machining components working to complex engineering drawings and CAD models.\n\nIn conjunction with the machining responsibilities, you will also be required to assist the department manager and others as required. You will need to be a self-starter and a highly motivated team player.\nWe are looking for an employee with a good attitude who enjoys working in a team environment and who has a good skill level and working knowledge of machine shop manufacturing processes.\nRiley Tech is a leading engineering company supplying components for the Motorsport industry. You would be joining a well-established, successful, and proactive organization who are recognized as being at the forefront of innovation in racecar technology and manufacturing.\n\nEssential Job Functions:\nThe setting, operating, and programming 3-Axis Okuma M560 & Mazak VTC-20B vertical mills and a 2-Axis Mazak Quick Turn 20 lathe (G-code) each with Mazatrol T Plus controls or similar.\nGood working knowledge of CNC machine programming with excellent attention to detail; MasterCam software experience preferred.\nA candidate is required to work to a high standard on OEM and custom automotive, aerospace, and military components.\nWork independently to high standards with a minimum of supervision.\nThe ability to read and understand complex engineering technical drawings and data.\nUnderstand and utilize commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for manufacturing and finishing machined components.\nWillingness to learn and do other aspects of machining production.\nPride in delivering quality products is essential, together with a positive approach to continuous improvement.\nGeneral day-to-day maintenance of mill and lathe.\nExcellent time management skills along with the ability to meet critical deadlines.\nA flexible attitude to overtime (short notice often necessary)\nQualifications / Experience:\nPast CNC machining experience\nGood mechanical aptitude\nAbility to use calipers, micrometers, dial indicator gages, and Go/No-Go gages for inspection of work performed.\nProven track record in multi-task and successfully following detailed instructions.\nGeneral knowledge of the safe use and operation of machine tools.\nGood working knowledge of basic math, dimensioning, and tolerances.\nProfessional attitude and strong work ethic.\n\nBenefits:\nWe offer a highly competitive hourly wage or salary based on experience.\nCompany-sponsored group healthcare benefits.\nPaid time off (PTO), vacation, and holidays.\n401(k) retirement plan.\nOpportunities for overtime are available, based on workload.\n\nNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
