Cleaner DLS - SubstituteJob Category: Employment Services Requisition Number: CLEAN001460Posted: March 18, 2026Part-Time On-site Buffalo, NY 14214, USA +2 more locationsJob DetailsDescriptionStarting Pay: $16.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible as needed; including day and evening shifts.Summary of DutiesThe Cleaner - DLS is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of locations across WNY as assigned by the Manager of Cleaning Services.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCleaning of office buildings by performing multiple duties such as sweep/mop floors, clean bathrooms, dusting, removing trash, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning carpets, washing windows, cleaning floors and ceilings, and sanitizing restrooms.Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, alerting Janitorial Instructor of any products needed to complete cleaning tasks.Performs and documents routine inspection and maintenance activitiesCleans and disinfects equipment as assignedKeeps supply room and slop rooms neat and orderlyKeeps outside doorways clean and clear of debrisReports any equipment that is broken to Janitorial InstructorConsistently complies with all Agency policies and proceduresConstantly maintains high performance standards at work with regard to personal behavior and interactions with staff, individuals that we serve.Inform Janitorial Instructor of any issues related to the cleaning business.Performs other duties as assigned by the Janitorial Instructor or other designee.Education & TrainingPreferred: High school diploma or equivalency and one to two years cleaning experienceMinimum: Must be 18 years of age or olderValid New York State Driver's License in good standing and means of reliable transportation preferred.
