In this role you will get to develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to facilitate threat system model interactions in a common environment. You will also be involved with graphical user interfaces to support the configuration, execution, visualization, and analysis of complex wargame scenarios.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nDefining requirements and designing solutions for M&S software\n\nParticipating in technical discussions to assist in near-term and long-term planning\n\nDeveloping software and automated tests using C/C++ and Python on Windows and Linux Platforms\n\nLeading technical tasks which could include directing and overseeing the work of less experienced developers\n\nWorking alongside a team, including mentoring junior software developers on C++, development practices, and software design\n\nRequired Clearance:\n\nMust be a US Citizen eligible for a Top Secret Clearance\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent with 8+ years of experience, OR Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, OR Ph.D. with 4+ years of experience\n\nStrong C++ programming skills\n\nExperience developing products with regular release cycles\n\nGood written and oral communication skills, as well as a desire to work with a highly technical team\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\n\nSoftware development in a DevOps or DevSecOps environment\n\nExperience working with an AGILE software development team\n\nPython programming skills including integration of C++ code with Python\n\nMentoring experience\n\nExperience working with environmental datasets such as terrain, road networks, atmospheric data, RF propagation data, etc. or signature data\n\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\n\nA security clearance is not required to apply; however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship, prior to the start date.\n\nThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.\n\nThe Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
