This position may specialize in particular products or processes. Additionally, this position follows all work area related processes and procedures to assemble/un-assemble units, utilizing hand tools, small power equipment, microscopes, and other special equipment/fixtures. Finally, this position is required to complete paperwork fully, accurately, and timely and practice good housekeeping.\nResponsibilities\nAssemble/un-assemble a wide range of products, using drawings, work instructions, and tests to performance specifications.\nWork cross functionally within the department – testing troubleshooting equipment\nCompletes required documentation.\nWire equipment\nUtilizes the inventory management System-Kanban, cycle counting, physical inventory.\nPerforms material handling, receiving and stocking of materials and sales coordination.\nAdheres to facility safety and health requirements; wears prescribed PPE.\nMaintains work area, tools and/or equipment, and machines.\nMaintains focus on continuous improvement by applying 80/20, PLS, and USa principles/techniques and makes process improvement recommendations to management.\nPosition Qualification Requirements\nEducation: High School Diploma (or GED) required.\nExperience/Skills:\nOne (1) year manufacturing experience preferred.\nKnowledge of electronics and mechanics\nElectrical wiring experience preferred\nGood manufacturing operations knowledge and practices.\nComputer experience required\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail\nGood Problem solving, Multi-tasking and Teamwork skills\nGood decision-making skills\nAbility to maintain high productivity on repetitive tasks while working in a fast-paced environment\nOther Requirements and Conditions\nPhysical/Visual Activities or Demands: Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently (34% - 66%) be required to bend, squat, twist/turn, and walk, and constantly (67% - 100%) be required to talk, hear, reach outward, stand, and grasp with hands.
