{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"31795c8fbe8905ca170c08dc","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/31795c8fbe8905ca170c08dc","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/31795c8fbe8905ca170c08dc","title":"Material Handler","description":"Description\n\nThe Material Handler stores, ships, receives, and replenishes finished goods to fire sprinkler contractors by parcel, LTL, truckload, and/or private carrier.\n\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma\n6+ months of warehouse experience\n\nHow You Will Help\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nResponsible for all tasks associated with the shipping and receiving functions at a distribution center\nScans barcodes, using a handheld scanner, to deliver materials to the target location within the warehouse\nOperates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment\nCompletes and maintains daily forklift inspections reports\nAssists Will-Call customers in a courteous and helpful manner\nReports any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse or Operations Supervisor\nReports backorders to the Customer Service Department\nPromote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
