Posting DetailsClassification InformationClassification Type EHRAPosition OverviewPrimary Purpose Of PositionThe position of Program Director is for the new Physician Assistant (PA) program. The Director of the PA Program is responsible for the organization, management, fiscal management, continuous review and analysis, and planning and implementation of the Physician Assistant Program. The Director of the PA Program will be responsible for ongoing reviews of the curriculum for the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards established by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant ( ARC -PA). The Director will be responsible for oversight of the development of clinical sites, supervision of faculty and program staff, coordinating program assessment, and maintaining ARC -PA accreditation. The Director will work with Admission, Marketing, and Communication to recruit students to the program. The position reports to the Dean of the Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences.This is a 12-month tenure-track faculty position (open rank commensurate with experience) with significant administrative responsibilities.Primary Function Of Organizational UnitNorth Carolina A&T is a 1890 land grant and doctoral-research university, where scholars are engaged in transformative teaching and learning, civic-outreach, interdisciplinary research and innovative solutions to global challenges as envisioned in N.C.
