Our maintenance team supports 24/7 cargo operations through a commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. As the Lead Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will provide technical leadership while maintaining and troubleshooting the heavy equipment that keeps our terminal moving.Responsibilities:Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy mobile equipment (forklifts, cranes, loaders)Schedule and track maintenance tasks using CMMS (Maximo)Manage vendors and parts procurement as neededEnsure safety and ISO/HSSE compliance in all activitiesMentor and support maintenance team membersWhat You Need to Succeed:5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience; leadership experience is a plusStrong skills in diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems diagnosticsProficiency with CMMS systems (preferably Maximo)Valid driver's license; TWIC card required or ability to obtainAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergenciesQualificationsWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly wage with overtime opportunitiesPPE and workwear providedOngoing training and professional developmentCareer advancement opportunitiesCollaborative, safety-driven work environmentWork Schedule:Full-time position with rotating availability for weekends and emergency calloutsAdditional InformationQSL and all entities under the QSL name including Sycamore Specialized Carriers are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
