Senior Finance M&A Analyst Nofar USA / Blue Sky Utility — U.S. Solar & BESS Fort Lauderdale, FL Hybrid Full-timeThe OpportunityWe're Nofar USA / Blue Sky Utility — one of the fastest-growing developers of utility-scale solar and battery storage in the U.S. As we scale our portfolio through acquisitions and project finance capital raises, we need a sharp analyst who can sit at the center of both.This isn't a support role. You'll build the models that drive our investment decisions, structure our bid strategy, and get in front of banks and tax equity investors directly. You'll work closely with our Senior Director and transactions team — in a lean, fast-moving environment where your analysis shapes outcomes.This is a HYBRID role. Candidates outside of a commutable distance to Fort Lauderdale will not be selected.What You'll OwnM&A & TransactionsBuild acquisition models with levered/unlevered IRR, NPV, and MOIC outputs; stress-test alternative financing structures (tax equity, sale-leaseback, pref equity + back leverage) to inform bid strategyConduct first-pass screening and prepare go/no-go investment memos for leadershipAnalyze PPA and offtake economics including basis differentials, curtailment, REC value, and capacity payments across major ISOsProduce NBI submissions, term sheet analyses, and counterproposal frameworks under competitive process timelinesPrepare board decks and investment committee packages for acquisitions and dispositionsProject Finance & Capital RaisesBuild and maintain standalone project finance models for active capital raises — revenue, opex, capex, depreciation, and tax credit assumptions aligned with the team's quarterly frameworkModel and compare structures: partnership flip tax equity, sale-leaseback (Section 467), inverted lease, pref equity, construction-to-term debt, and back leverageSize debt facilities via DSCR analysis across P50/P99 scenarios and lender-specific covenant packagesModel ITC/PTC economics including FMV step-up, DRO sizing, flip timing, and cash/income allocation waterfallsPrepare lender and tax equity presentations; manage diligence responses and live deal model updatesMarket & Commercial IntelligenceMonitor power market data, merchant price curves, PPA pricing, and tax equity market conditions across ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, SERC, and CAISOEvaluate domestic content, energy community eligibility, and IRA-era ITC/PTC adder applicability for pipeline projectsAnalyze comparable transactions and precedent M&A multiples to support valuation positionsContribute to quarterly assumption reviews — discount rates, merchant haircuts, O&M benchmarks, financing termsRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForRequired47 years in financial analysis, M&A, project finance, or capital markets in renewables, power & utilities, or infrastructureAdvanced Excel modeling — direct experience building acquisition and/or project finance models for solar, BESS, or wind assetsWorking knowledge of tax equity structures (partnership flip, sale-leaseback, inverted lease) and their impact on project and sponsor-level returnsFamiliarity with debt sizing mechanics: DSCR sculpting, cash sweep, reserve accountsUnderstanding of IRA-era ITC/PTC provisions — domestic content, energy community, prevailing wage, and bonus credit qualificationStrong communication skills; ability to distill complex analysis into crisp executive summaries and investment memosBachelor's in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or a related quantitative fieldNice to HaveBackground at a renewable developer/IPP, infrastructure fund, investment bank (P&U or infrastructure group), or Big 4 advisoryExperience with FMV appraisals, cost segregation analyses, and tax credit insurance processesExposure to VPPA structuring, hedge analysis, or merchant risk assessment for renewable energy assetsMBA, CFA, or CPA (or in progress)Familiarity with PVSyst, WoodMac, LevelTen, Ascend Analytics, or similar toolsExperience with bank-provided project finance model templates (e.g., BNP Paribas, KeyBanc)BenefitsWhat we can offer you: An Incredible Team, a Big Mission Work alongside smart, passionate people who are genuinely driven to build a cleaner energy future.
