At Wolfe Eye Clinic, we create Better Vision for a Better Life.We are currently hiring for an Ophthalmic Technician based out of our Ames Clinic.Duties and Responsibilities:Document patient's medical and ocular histories in electronic medical record.Perform patient workups.Complete diagnostic testing, such as retinoscopy, manual refraction, applanation A-scan, keratometry, tonometry, OCT's and visual fields.Provide patient education according to physician instructions.Perform other duties as assigned.Travel to other offices as needed.Knowledge and Qualifications:Medical office experience required.Ophthalmic testing experience preferred.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Experience providing excellent patient care.Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and communicate concerns regarding the results of diagnostic testing.If you are interested in being part of a quality driven organization, while receiving a competitive wage and excellent benefits (health, dental, 401k, paid-time off, etc.) please apply online at www.wolfeeyeclinic.com/careersEOE
