Our success is built on the dedication of our people, our commitment to safety, and our focus on delivering superior products to our customers.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nResponsible for providing innovative ideas that help increase production, reduce costs and improve quality while keeping safety and environment in mind.\nREPORTING TO:\nPosition reports to the Plant Manager.\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCollaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and support teams to identify process issues, root causes, and improvement opportunities.\nCollect, analyze, and maintain key process performance data and databases.\nPrepare technical reports, statistical analyses, and graphical data representations, including process capability studies and standard deviation analysis.\nPartner with cross-functional departments to identify and control critical process variables that ensure product quality and consistency.\nDesign and conduct trials and experiments to validate process improvements and operational theories.\nMonitor manufacturing performance, including roll weight, thickness, granular adhesion, roll length, downtime, scrap, and waste, ensuring compliance with established process parameters.\nAnalyze process data and recommend equipment modifications, process adjustments, and standard operating procedure improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and reliability.\nImprove data collection, recordkeeping, and documentation practices to support operational excellence and regulatory compliance.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven decision making and problem-solving methodologies.\nDevelop and maintain process flow diagrams, work instructions, and process control documentation.Support and promote adherence to quality management systems, policies, procedures, and company standards.\nEvaluate process performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nPlan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and tasks to meet operational objectives.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree required.\nMinimum 2 years of relevant work experience.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.\nAbility to prepare reports and present information effectively.\nExperience managing moderately complex projects.\nProven ability to build and maintain internal and external customer relationships.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nPrior supervisory experience preferred.\nExperience with SAP and/or AS-400 preferred.\n5+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.\nUnderstanding of MRP and production scheduling is preferred.\nSix Sigma certification or experience a plus.\nKnowledge of product lines, manufacturing processes, and production/laboratory equipment preferred.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nLocation: Winter Haven, FL\nSplit between office and manufacturing environments.\nExposure to dust, moderate noise, automated manufacturing equipment, and varying temperatures.\nMust be able to work around hot asphalt tanks, lines, and pumps as needed.\nAbility to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally.\nAbility to frequently climb stairs and periodically climb ladders.\n\nTRAVEL:\nMinimal travel is required.\nPAY AND BENEFITS:\nA FREE health-plan option for employees or premium costs far below industry averages\n401(k) plans with a company match at 6% - far more free money than most plans in the market\nTuition Reimbursement.
