The Opportunity The Senior Engineer enhances our cloud-native web applications using a combination of next-generation web technologies including JavaScript, React, Python, C#, all implemented using modern software engineering practices and continuous delivery. They are responsible for working with the designers and product managers to discover and build features that will maximize value for customers.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of large-scale enterprise cloud platforms that service multiple client applicationsPerformance analysis and memory utilizationBuild reusable code and libraries using efficient, testable coding practicesLogically identify and resolve issues using root cause analysisProvide development support in debugging and resolving defects as assigned, in support of assigned development projects and/or testing effortsProvide estimates of level of work effort and time for completionEnsures coding standards are adhered to by other team membersEnsures proper branching and code review process take place in team code repositoryParticipate in scrum ceremoniesProvide technological guidance to peersFundamental understanding of software design and deliveryThis job description in no way implies that the duties listed here are the only ones that team members can be required to perform QualificationsBS degree in Computer Sciences, programming or a related discipline or demonstrable equivalent experience5+ years relevant experience developing and analyzing web applications using technologies including JavaScript, Typescript, React5+ years professional experience developing and analyzing cloud infrastructures and back-end systems using Java, C# or PythonExperience in client side MVVM JavaScript frameworks like React, Redux, Angular and or similarFamiliarity with open-source packages and license typesExpert understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principles, Data Structures, and AlgorithmsExperience using Unit testing tools such as xUnit/jest and Test-Driven Development (TDD)Expert understanding of Agile processes and workflowExperience with Docker.
