Leadership is hands-on, decisions are made locally, and all departments work closely together to keep jobs moving efficiently.Position SummaryThe RV Parts Manager / Parts Specialist is responsible for managing the full parts process for both RV service and RV collision operations. This role directly impacts workflow, repair accuracy, and cycle time by ensuring parts are ordered correctly, received on time, and staged properly for technicians.This is a hands-on, detail-driven role requiring strong communication with technicians, service advisors, and estimators.Key ResponsibilitiesParts Ordering & AccuracySource and order all RV service and RV collision parts accurately and on timeReview repair estimates and technician notes to confirm parts requirementsVerify part numbers, fitment, and quantities prior to orderingIdentify alternative sourcing options when parts are delayed or unavailableReceiving, Returns & CreditsInspect inbound shipments for accuracy and freight damageMirror match parts for accuracyDocument damage and initiate freight claims as neededProcess returns and track credits to completionEnsure credits are properly received and appliedWorkflow & CoordinationConfirm all parts are received and distributed to technicians in timely mannerStage parts to specific service or collision jobsNotify shop foreman, service advisors and estimators of parts delaysPost parts invoices daily and file accurately by job typeParticipate in morning release meeting and provide relevant updates as neededVendor & PurchasingMaintain vendor relationships and follow up on order statusSeek competitive pricing and available discountsEnsure invoices are coded correctly to the appropriate RO or jobRequired ExperienceExperience in RV service, RV collision, or RV dealership partsExperience managing high-value, long-lead-time partsAbility to work from estimates, measurements, and technician notesStrong organizational and follow-up skills
