Aldridge Pite is dedicated to providing best-in-class representation across all of its Practice Areas through its unwavering subscription to three fundamental tenets: Partnership, Integrity, and Innovation.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReviews file and notify designated departments of impediments preventing case from being at issue prior to JudgmentMonitor files and draft/file motions as neededDirect communication with attorneys and clients regarding case status/questions/phone conference coordinationPrepare Motions for Summary Judgment and Motions to Set Non-Jury TrialsRequest Witness and Documents from servicer; draft and file/serve Trial Order with Witness and Exhibit Lists; draft/file Supplemental Witness List(s) once assignedEnsure county specific requirements are met by deadlines: lost note/mortgage (surety) bonds, pre-trial statements, file trial worksheets, disclosing exhibits, COCs, court e-submissions, filing feesPrepares Trial Binder with exhibits as well as Affidavit of Attorney’s Fees and Costs, Affidavit in Support of Attorney’s Fees and Costs, Final Disposition form, Final Judgment, Affidavit of Compliance, Notice of Filing Original Note and Mortgage and Sales notices if applicableSends Witness prep email – proposed final judgment, trial exhibits, and attorney contact informationPrepare Final Judgment package for Motions for Summary JudgmentResolves any issues preventing judgment from being entered post eventPrepares Motion to Amend Final Judgment and Amended Final Judgment as neededJob RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.Some college preferred.At least two years of litigation experience required.
