More at https://trellix.com .\r\nAbout The Role\r\n\r\n\r\nDeep Dive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of Android applications and SDKs to understand their codebase, architecture, functionality and to identify potential risks.\r\n\r\n\r\nReverse Engineering Techniques: Employ advanced reverse engineering techniques to extract information from various codebases, including decompilation, disassembly, and debugging.\r\n\r\n\r\nRisk Identification: Identify user and device risk, data leakage, and malicious code execution within Android apps and SDKs.\r\n\r\n\r\nThreat Intelligence: Gather, analyze and report threat intelligence related to Android malware, exploits, and emerging security trends.\r\n\r\n\r\nCollaboration: Collaborate with security researchers, developers, and other stakeholders to share findings, provide recommendations, and contribute to the development of secure applications and ecosystem.\r\n\r\n\r\nABOUT YOU\r\n\r\n\r\nWe require a minimum of 3 - 5+ years of expertise in one or more of the following: Android Development, Reverse Engineering, Pentesting, Application Security Assessments, Capture the Flag (CTF).\r\n\r\n\r\nOur Android Reverse Engineering Program also requires hands on experience with the following:\r\n\r\n\r\nAnalyzing, unpacking, and reverse engineering code of malicious applications or SDKs.\r\n\r\n\r\nStatic and Dynamic Analysis Techniques\r\n\r\n\r\nReverse Engineering tools such as Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, Burp, to perform binary and APK analysis\r\n\r\n\r\nJava, Kotlin, JavaScript, Flutter, and other mobile software languages\r\n\r\n\r\nELF (Native Binaries) reverse engineering\r\n\r\n\r\nDevelopment of signatures (SQL, Yara, etc.)\r\n\r\n\r\nAn understanding of the following topics will be greatly appreciated and utilized:\r\n\r\n\r\nAndroid Fundamentals such as Android activity lifecycles, common Android API usage, AOSP, and how an Android application is created.\r\n\r\n\r\nTechniques utilized by malicious applications to harm the user's device or their data\r\n\r\n\r\nMobile App store policies (Ads, PHAs, Developer, etc.)\r\n\r\n\r\nNetwork traffic analysis; security fundamentals\r\n\r\n\r\nResearch on threats such as APT using Open-Source Intelligence (Virus Total, Web, ExploitDB, MITRE, etc.)\r\n\r\n\r\nEncoding and Cryptography\r\n\r\n\r\nAuthentication mechanisms and security\r\n\r\n\r\nDevice rooting\r\n\r\n\r\nComplex frameworks and application packers\r\n\r\n\r\nCompany Benefits and Perks:\r\nWe believe that the best solutions are developed by teams who embrace each other's unique experiences, skills, and abilities.
