Our platform combines analytics with media buying to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience for businesses of any size.\r\nWe're looking for a full-time data scientist intern to join us for the summer of 2026. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment with diverse data sets and technologies to build production-quality, scalable and automated solutions for a range of data problems. Under the guidance of our Senior Data Scientists, you will utilize the latest technologies to solve challenging problems, create innovative applications, and support a reliable online experience for our customers. This role collaborates closely with our technology teams to provide insights from your analysis and optimize our business, with the goal of redefining the TV ad buying experience.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nExplore and build data science solutions (e.g., advanced analytics, algorithms, or models) to support measurement or optimization of TV advertising performance\r\nAnalyze large datasets to generate insights that improve product features or drive better outcomes for clients\r\nCollaborate with Data Science and cross-functional partners (Engineering, Product, and Client Services) to gather requirements, review results, and deliver on project goals\r\nPresent findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders across the company\r\nQualifications\r\nCurrently enrolled in a graduate program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other STEM field\r\nEligible to work full-time from late May through early August\r\nNot yet graduated and will be continuing with school after this internship\r\nStrong interest in designing and developing analytics and predictive modeling\r\nExperience with or interest in data manipulation software (e.g., SQL, Python, Pandas)\r\nQuick learner with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; adaptability and a strong self-teaching ethic are valued\r\nStrong strategic thinking capabilities\r\nInterest in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data and translating findings into actionable insights\r\nKnowledge of statistics and probability and their application in systems analysis and operations research\r\nNice to have: experience building and optimizing machine learning models\r\nNice to have: experience with collaborative software engineering tools (e.g., Git/GitHub)\r\nBenefits + Perks\r\nCompetitive salary ($35.00 - $45.00 hourly)\r\nChoose your summer location: San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York City\r\nHybrid schedule: 2-3 days per week\r\nSnacks, drinks, and catered lunches at the office\r\nTeam building events\r\nAt Tatari, we believe in the importance of cultivating teams with diverse backgrounds and offering equal opportunities to all.
